IT IS THAT GOOD. When you have a craving for this pastry crack, you cannot be satisfied with anything else. They're probably all sold out as I write this...damn.

My mouth is watering. I had heard about Les Madeleines on 101.9, and a few weekends ago Tim and I were downtown and I spotted it. We were about to go in, but it was a Sunday and the shop was closed. Now I know what the rest of Salt Lake goes through on Sundays. I almost called Nick R to ask him if there are any open restaurants in SLC on Sundays.

Don't worry - we found one. But I still need to visit Les Madeleines. If you recommend it, I know it will be tasty!

I saw them on Food Network!!! I want to learn how to make them. Are the rings 3 1/2 or 4 inches?? I may have to order them off her web site to try them out first!!! :) :)

I tried on of these yesterday. I had to stop the person I was with from talking to me while I chewed because pastry's flavors and tectures kept coming, one delightful surprise after another. I did not want my brain to be interrupted or distracted by the talk, talk, talk. Poor mom. Then she took a bite and shut up. We sat in blissful silence and chewed.

There is also a place in Norwalk ct tha makes them and they are great. Still looking for a bakery in NYC that carries them. But this is the best pastry I think I ever ate.
